Alice is an AI assistant service operated by Philip Leach, an individual trading from Dorset, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Philip Leach as the operator of Alice, and "you" means the person using it.
You need an account to use Alice. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account. You must be 18 or over.
Free accounts include a daily message allowance. Paid plans (Pro and Mega) are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any tax that applies where you live. Your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel.
You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account page. Switching plans charges the difference for the rest of the month immediately. Cancelling stops the next payment; your access carries on until the end of the month you have already paid for.
You must not use Alice to:
We filter prompts automatically and may refuse a request or close an account that breaks these rules.
Alice, its software, documentation, branding, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Philip Leach. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the term of your plan. You must not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute any part of it without written permission.
Alice generates text with an AI model. It can be wrong, out of date, or misleading. Always check anything important before you rely on it. Alice does not give legal, medical or financial advice. You are responsible for what you do with its answers.
Chats are stored encrypted on your own device, not on our servers. We hold your account details and a daily message count only. See the Privacy Notice for the detail.
Alice runs on our own hardware. We aim to keep it available but cannot promise it will never be down, and we may change or withdraw features. Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited in law. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.
You can stop using Alice and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will refund any unused part of a paid month if we do so without cause.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
